So here’s Friday’s Fabulous 4LEGS Radio schedule. Enjoy!

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show
Start your Friday with 2 hours of great music. As usual Pete will have his featured artist spot following the local news at 8. This week it’s Kylie Minogue (pic). Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Ellie Humphreys (pic left) will be on the phone to give us her fortnightly update on activities, events and animal comings and goings from the NAWT at Trindledown. There’s also a pre-recorded interview with Chloe Martin (pic right) from Racing Welfare who updates us with the latest news from the local racing charity. Plus there’s more informative audios, local news and the usual selections of Yabber Yabber show types of music. Enjoy!


11am – 12noon This Week with Penny 
Local Usborne Books at Home seller Sharon Turner (pic) will be talking to Penny about why she has set up the Lambourn Online Christmas Shopping Event to raise funds for the church and to help local businesses and how the community can join the group and show support.


12noon – 12.30pm The Downland Racing Show with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan
Pat and Chris will be previewing the weekends top cIass flat racing action from Doncaster and Newbury plus some great races from Cheltenham’s first meeting of the 2020/21 National Hunt season. Tune in and you may just find a winner or two from the 4LEGS Radio racing pundits.


12.30pm – 1.30pm Uploaded with Ellie Chelton 
This week on Uploaded the theme is Abroad during Covid. Ellie will speak live on the phone with her cousin Polly about volunteering in a migrant camp in France, and also have a chat live on the phone with Penny’s son Adam (pic) who has been in Vietnam throughout lockdown and is now teaching English there.

 

 

 

1.30pm – 2.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda and Jane
On their Gardening Show this week, Linda and Jane consider the idea of putting gardens to bed- or not , review the best places to see some local autumn colours and provide tips for getting house plants Christmas ready.

 


 

2.30pm – 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester
On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda find out about the battle for words between the French and the English, reveal the Fat Bear of the year, review the new Citroen stealing French hearts and admire the merry major sailing an iron boat in aid of a hospice. Plus music of all sorts and lots of local news.
