7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber part 1 with Chris Capel
Chris’s telephone guest in part 1 of Yabber Yabber is Mike Edwards (pic) from charity ‘Assisting Berkshire Children (ABC) to Read.’ Mike will explain that the charity is determined to help as many children to read and how people can volunteer to do so. Plus there’ll be local news, informative audios and some great tunes. Enjoy!

1am – 12 noon This Week with Penny (with Brian Quinn)
Brian Quinn will be standing in for Penny this week and his guest is Ed James (pic) from Sporting Agenda in East Garston who will be talking about how the sporting industry has been seriously affected by Covid.

12noon – 12.30pm The Downland Racing Show with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan
Pat and Chris looka ahead to top class Group 1 and Group 2 action from Newmarket plus the cavalry charge which is The Cambridgeshire handicap consisting of 29 runners. Will they find a winner or two? You’ll have to tune in to find out

12.30pm – 1.30pm Yabber Yabber part 2 with Chris Capel
Chris’s guest in part 2 of Yabber Yabber is Liz Goodman who’s the brainchild behind ‘World Animal Week – West Berkshire’ which is taking place between 28th September and 4th October.  It’s fundraising appeal has been launched by four local animal welfare charities as they brace themselves for a crisis in unwanted and abandoned animals as a result of Covid-19. Liz will explain what’s happening and how people can get involved. Plus Chris will give the latest local sports news including an interview with Lambourn Sports FC assistant coach / Manager Sam Broadbank (pic) after their team’s victory against East Hendred on Tuesday.

 

 
 

 

1.30pm – 2.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane 
On the Gardening show this week, Linda and Jane give seasonal advice on managing your garden, covering topics from planting bulbs to propagating and selecting autumn favourites.

 

 

 

 

2.30pm – 4.30pm Face2face with Linda & Tim Forrester
On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda are joined by local astronomer Peter Birtwhistle (pic), we look at some tricky English and German words, complete our music hero profile, find some good news stories and celebrate some lives well led.
