Both Hungerford Town FC and Lambourn Sports FC have been in fine form over the past few weeks and here’s a summary of the latest results and forthcoming fixtures
Hungerford Town FC
Since Danny Robinson took over as Manager The Crusaders have only lost one pre-season friendly to Salisbury Town at the end of August which was courtesy of a last minute penalty at Bulpit Lane. The results since that loss have been as follows:
Dorchester 1 – 3 Hungerford Town
Hungerford Town 2 -0 Royal Wootton Bassett
Hungerford Town 2 – 0 Yate Town FC
Kintbury Rangers 0 – 4 Hungerford Town
With Tuesday October 6th being the date for the first league game of the new season at home to Chippenham Town they have two more pre-season friendlies to play before then. These are:
Home to Ringwood Town FC on Tuesday 22nd September, kick-off 7.45pm
Away to Gloucester City FC on Saturday 26th September, kick-off 3pm
Lambourn Sports FC – First Team
The news season has already started for Lambourn Sports FC with 2 games being played so far. Their first game was a 6-0 home win against Dorchester and their second game was a 1-0 away win at Long Wittenham Athletic. So after the first 2 games Daniel Broadbank’s team are currently 2nd in the North Berks league with 6 points but only on goal difference from leaders Berinsfield First.

Home to East Hendred on Saturday 19th September, kick-off 2pm
Lambourn Sports FC – Reserve Team
The reserve team have won 2 of their last 3 friendlies and their biggest win was at home to Wroughton at the end of August when they won 6-3. No other friendly fixtures are know at the moment but they will be posted on the 4LEGS website when they are made available.
