7am – 9am The Pete Brady Brady Breakfast Show
The weekend is almost here and we will start your day off with music selected to get things going in the right mood. This week’s featured artist is James Taylor. Don’t miss it!

 

 

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
On a busy show Chris will be joined on the phone by Ellie Humphrey’s (pic right) for her regular update on what’s happening at the NAWT Centre at Trindledown. Chris will take the opportunity to announce details of the 3rd fund raising event for Trindledown, Racing Welfare and Lambourn Riding for the disabled.  Also on the show we’ll hear from Danielle Harnett (pic left) of Goodies Cafe in Lambourn on how the business has been after lockdown.  Plus you’ll find out who the winners were of last weekend’s Lambourn Carnival competitions. All this plus local news including sports, more informative audios and of course some great tunes. Enjoy!

 

11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
Penny’s guest this week is Jo Cooke (pic), the nutter who loves to de-clutter, Jo is a Director of Hoarding Disorders UK and also runs her own business ‘Tapioca Tidy’. She is also the author of the book “Understanding Hoarding” which is fast becoming the “go to manual” for hoarders, their families and agencies that work with people exhibiting hoarding behaviours. Jo will be explaining how lockdown has affected people with hoarding tendencies and shares some tips to help them.

 

12noon – 12.30pm The Downland Racing Show with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter-Brennan
Pat and Chris look ahead to the weekends action with the feature race being the Group 1 Betfair Sprint Cup at Haydock where Lambourn will be represented by the Clive Cox (pic) trained Golden Horde. Will he put a disappointing run at Deauville last time behind him? Tune in to get Pat and Chris’s verdict.

 

12.30pm – 1.30pm Yabber Yabber show (Part 2) with Chris Capel 
With most schools now open and children returning for the new term Chris and studio guest Phil Wright (pic right) will be talking about the differences between education today and when they were at school. Why are children deemed to be under so much pressure today resulting in anxiety and depression compared to 20+ plus years ago? Has social media got something to do with it? 1.30pm – 2.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt 
Another hour of great music and tricky questions from 4LEGS pop guru Tim Stutt. If you enjoy all music genres and music trivia through the ages this is the show for you.

2.30pm – 4.30pm Face2face with Linda & Tim Forrester
On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda have a new music hero feature- a lady who was awarded the OBE but died on the day she was due to get it, plus local news, a farewell to Blockbuster, a peak at the UK citizenship test and a check to see which Christian names have come into fashion or have disappeared.
