A Saturday treat with some great music from the 70’s, a chat with some talented singers who could win a serious amount of cash and we’ll interview a couple of young budding artists who’ve won an art competition. All this plus an update from the a local volunteer group who’ve been helping and supporting those in need in these difficult time and some audio clips you might find useful as we remain in a Corona Virus lockdown state.
9am – 11am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show
Pete plays yet another two hours of the best music from the 70’s. This week it’s 1978 & 1979. Enjoy all the No 1. hits from those years. Don’t miss it!
11am – 13.15am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
A busy show. Chris will be talking to both Lucy Barry and Fred Tett who have reached the final of Racing Welfare’s ‘Furlong Factor’ which is being broadcast on Sky Sports Racing on Saturday evening. Hopefully we’ll get a tune or two out of them and find out what song they’ve sung which will win them the competition.
Also Kimi Angus and Oscar Weck two of the winners of the Trindledown art competition will be calling in to talk about their winning entries and what inspired them to take part.
1.15.pm – 1.45pm Knock Knock with Suzi Cairns
Suzi hears from Helen Noll exactly what a sterling job Lambourn Villagers are doing amid the Corona virus pandemic. After six weeks of lockdown, the volunteer support group is working like a well-oiled machine and donations to the Lambourn Junction have exceeded everyone’s expectations. It seems that from all the hardship of Covid-19, community has risen stronger and more creative than ever.
