My featured artist this week is Santana, one of the best selling groups of all time, with over 47 million certified records sold in the US and an estimated 100 million worldwide. The band’s discography includes 25 studio albums, 14 of which reached the US Top 10. 

9am – 10am Now that's what I call Comedy (part 2) with Chris Booth & Chris Capel

On part 2 of the show you can enjoy some more amusing tunes from then likes of David Bowie, Chuck Berry, The Spinners, Laurel & Hardy, Lonnie Donegan and many more… So why not join Chris & Chris for another hour of musical laughter.

For all the local news and other stories making the headlines join Penny & Brian for their weekly look at things that matter to the Valley.

11am - 12noon Classical Gas with Chris Booth

On this week’s ‘Classical Gas’, Chris Booth will be playing some of the well known Gilbert & Sullivan  songs which have been parodied by modern day comedians from the Two Ronnie’s to Tom Lehrer.

So, tune in to find out about ‘Three Little Maids from School’ and why ‘A Policeman’s lot is not an ‘appy one’. 

12noon - 1pm Knock Knock with Suzi Cairns

Suzi interviews Sharon Mooney (pic right), born and bred in the valley of the racehorse.

This was first broadcast 8 years ago and is being aired again as a tribute to Sharon Mooney who has sadly passed away recently.

1pm – 2pm This Gardening Show with Linda & Jane

On this month’s Gardening Show, Linda and Jane are covering garden visits, dahlias, lawns, Christmas bulbs and climate resilience .

2pm - 4pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

 Back on Face2Face, Tim and Linda recall a much admired country singer,  visit a house full of history (see pic) and investigate the story of a man who cycles 7,000 miles from India to Europe in the cause of love. 

4pm - 5.50pm The Retro Radio Show with Andy Henly

On Andy Healy’s Retro Radio Show, Andy tackles the subject of Geography in his School Days Challenge. On Lost TV, he recalls a 70s lunchtime show for kids. Finally, with your help, Andy compiles his Mix tape
