They chat to Sam Dibas and Chris Garrett of Enborne Parish Council and the Enborne Parish Field Charity, and also to Jane Grindey of Calleva Community Energy (which provided the technical know-how) to find out how this project can inspire other communities which want to create a solar farm of their own and how the government can better support small, local energy generation schemes.

‘Carved From Coal’ is a radio play written by Andy Kempe and performed by him and members of the Greenham Tower Theatre Group. It tells the story of Gethin, played by Andy. Gethin didn’t go to school that day, but he saw the mountain slide and his school disappear. It took a week before all of the 116 children’s bodies were recovered.
