My Featured Artists this week is The Pointer Sisters an American female vocal group from Oakland, California, who achieved mainstream success during the 1970s and 1980s. They have had a repertoire with many genres and have sold around 40 million records throughout their career. The Pointer Sisters have won three Grammy Awards and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1994.
9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
I’ll be taking a look back at this day in music history. Plus, you can listen to Sarah Roberts from her “It’s Time to Talk” show chatting to Carolyn Anne Sykes (pic right) about about her job as a “Raise your Gaze” coach and covering topics such as acupuncture, menopause, meditation, reiki and life coaching.
