The guest on Yabber Yabber this week is Ceri Hanlon (pic) who’s one of the volunteers on the Kennet & Avon canal boat The ‘Rose of Hungerford’. Ceri
will talk about the special trips you can enjoy on the ‘Rose of Hungerford’ during the Christmas period. Chris will also
look at the music, events and news from the year 1997.
11am – 12noon This Week with Penny & Brian
Penny and Brian will be chatting to Rob Daniels (pic) who’s the Head of Grants at Greenham Trust. Rob will be talking about the recent charity awards, upcoming grants rounds and other exciting projects Greenham Trust is involved with. Brian will also cover some local news as well.
12noon - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show with Chris Carter Brennan
It’s the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury and the Fighting Fifth hurdle at Newcastle this weekend and Chris will be previewing both. There’s also recorded interviews with trainers Paul Nicholls, Harry Derham and Nicky
Henderson (pic right) from the recent gallops morning at Newbury racecourse.

1.45pm – 2.55pm Old Wild Men with Max & Tobi
Themes on this week’s Old Wild Men are New Orleans for Max and Femme Fatal for Tobi. You can enjoy some great music from the likes of Al Stewart, The Kinks, Louis Prima, Louis Armstrong, The Velvet Underground, AWOL Nation…and many more. There will of course be some entertaining banter between the two Old Wild Men.
