7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Glad to say I’m back with another two hours of “start the day” music. 

My Featured Artist at 8 this week is Carly Rae Jepsen who’s breakthrough came in 2012 with her single “Call Me Maybe”, which sold over 18 million copies and reached number one in more than 19 countries including the UK.

10am - 10.30am The Dylan and Claire Show

The Dylan & Clare Show – meet Year 11 student Dylan McMahon and Careers Teacher Claire Smith from Mary Hare school in Newbury Hear how the school supports students with hearing impairments and the benefits the students get from doing work experience in the local community.

10.30am -11am Local Eco Show

Listen again to this episode from May about  Matt Somerville from Bee Kind Hives working at Sheepdrove to create natural tree-style habitats for wild honey bees.

These habitats mimic the increasingly rare tree cavities that bees like and help support a healthy wild bee population that can live in harmony with other pollinators and farm wildlife. 

 

11am - 12noon 60 Minutes of 60s hits with Andy Westgate

This Friday join Andy Westgate for 60 minutes of 60’s hits.  One hour of classic sing-along songs with Manfred Mann, The Love Affair, TheByrds, The Beatles, The Monkees, Them, The Move and many more. Relive a magic decade at 11.00 o’clock this morning.

12noon – 1pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

Tim and Linda have a one hour Face 2Face in which they pick their highlights from their trip to Cheltenham for the week’s Literary Festival. For the music, they choose a short list of favourite instrumentals. 

1pm – 2.05pm 'A Sign of the Times' radio play by Andy Kempe

Written by Andy Kempe (pic) and performed by the Greenham Tower Theatre Company,  ‘A Sign of the Times’ is a radio play set at Greenham Common. The story starts with an aircraft crash in 1939 and encompasses spies, betrayal, lost love and the search for justice. 

This was first broadcast during April of this year

2.05pm - 3.55pm The Retro Radio Show with Andy Henly

Join Andy Henly for the retro radio show. Share your memories on Facebook.com/Retro Radio Show. School Days Challenge tackles the subject of Science whilst Hall of Fame has an American Grammy award winning Singer/Songwriter.
