7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

On a not so cold Friday morning’ once again, it’s two hours of rise and shine music. Today’s Featured Artist at 8 is the Dave Clark Five. They were the second group of the British Invasion to appear on the Ed Sullivan show in March ’64 and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Chris will be looking back at the year 1999. As well as playing some great music from that year he’ll be casting your memories back to items that made the headlines including Sport, Entertainment, Science & Technology, TV & Films, International News, Local News and other stuff from that period.

11am - 12noon This Week with Penny & Brian

Penny and Brian look at what’s been making the news locally and further afield including some of the bigger stories of the week.

12noon - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show with Chris Carter Brennan

Chris will look back at some of the highlights from last week’s Cheltenham Festival and previews the weekend’s action which includes the last fixture of the National Hunt season at Newbury.  

12.30pm – 1.30pm The D.I.Y Show with Keith Fryer

As we head into Spring Keith will be focusing on those outside chores that need doing ready for a BBQ Summer, we hope. Plus, he’ll be looking at what effects the current crisis in the Middle East will be having on supplies of materials.

1.30pm – 2.30pm One Hit Wonders from the 60s with Chris Booth & Chris Capel

Do you Remember the 60’s……it was not all about the Beatles and the Stones there were some great songs that ,although well known, became one hit wonders.
Chris Capel and Chris Booth (pic) will be playing some of those ‘Turntable hits’ from the 1960’s.

2.30pm – 3.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

Tim goes solo on a one hour Face2Face this week. Subjects are likely to encompass the story of the Mr Men books, an international cycle race,  a builder who turned blue plus a look back at March 20 and a tribute to Neil Sedaka. Among the music  tracks will be Billy Joel, Sam Cooke and The Band. 

3.30pm - 5.20pm The Retro Radio Show with Andy Henly

This week’s School Days Challenge tackles the subject of Science and Lost TV remembers a kids TV show narrated by a BBC newsman. There’s also the regular 2 x 12 inch remixes
