It’s the first Breakfast Show of 2026 and I’ll be presenting two hours of great music to start your day. My Featured Artist this week is Mud, an English glam rock band, formed in February 1966. After signing to Rak Records and teaming up with songwriters/producers Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman, the band had fourteen UK Top 20 hits between 1973 and 1976, including three number ones. Don’t miss it!

My guests during the first Yabber Yabber of 2026 is Christian Noll and Karen Spence from the Lambourn Junction CIC. I will be talking to them about the recent announcement to appoint Karen Spence (pic right) as the new Community Organiser for Lambourn and the wider Lambourn Valley. This important new role has been made possible through generous funding support from SNG, whose commitment will enable Lambourn Junction CIC to bring practical services and new opportunities directly into the heart of the community.
