Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Once again, I’ll be presenting two hours of great music to start your day. My Featured Artist this week is George Michael. The English singer-songwriter and record producer is known as a creative force in songwriting, vocal performance, and visual presentation. In 2015, he was ranked 45th in Billboard’s list of the “Greatest Hot 100 Artists of All Time” and the Radio Academy stated that Michael was the most frequently played artist on British radio during the period 1984–2004. Don’t miss it!

9am – 10.30am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Molly Hall (pic below) from the National Animal Welfare Trust at Trindledown will be on the phone to provide the latest news from the centre. Plus, there’s a recording of an interview earlier in the year with Rob Chicken (pic right) who’s a volunteer at ‘REMAP’ which is a charitable organisation providing custom-made equipment, free of charge for disabled people. Rob is an engineer and has made many pieces of equipment and gadgets that help disabled people during their daily lives. There’s also some great music to enjoy as well.

10.30am – 11am Soul Medicine with Carolyn Anne Sykes

Join Carolyn Anne Sykes (pic left) as she welcomes Aimee Wallis (pic right) from Audley Inglewood Retirement Village  a truly special community nestled in the heart of Berkshire.

We’ll be chatting all things Inglewood life from its beautiful setting and elegant homes to the luxury in-house spa, restaurant, and exclusive membership options. Aimee will also share details about the upcoming Christmas Fair, how residents enjoy everything from afternoon tea and seasonal events to bespoke wellbeing services, and even a peek at current property opportunities and career vacancies within this vibrant village.

11am - 12noon This Week with Penny & Brian

On this Friday’s show Penny and Brian chat with Freddie Tulloch (pic right) about the Game & Christmas Fair which is taking place on Sunday 16th November at The Queens Arms in East Garston. Plus, they’ll take a look at some of the local news and events from the Valley and surrounding area.

12noon – 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show with Chris Carter Brennan.

Chris will be previewing the 3 day Autumn festival at Cheltenham which takes place between Friday and Sunday this weekend. There’s some fantastic sport on offer which includes the feature race on Saturday The Paddy Power Gold Cup Handicap Chase that’s worth £100,000 to the winner. Can Chris find you the winner of the race? You’ll need to tune in to find out.

12.30pm – 1.30pm It's Only Words..Or is it? With Chris Booth & Chris Capel

We all listen to songs but how many of us actually listen to the words. 
Words have always formed an important part of a song to impart feelings or tell a story. The meaning of them are often missed as we sing along to our favourite tunes
 
So this Friday from 12.30 Chris Capel and Chris Booth will be playing some famous tracks with memorable words after all
Its only words …..or is it ?

1.30pm - 3.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week Linda and Tim  remember an actress of many parts, a sports woman who can’t stop running, and a comedienne who has a theatre named after her. Plus we find out about a powerful case of restorative justice , learn about two opposing soldiers  who became best friends and check out the merits of the bath against the shower. The music list includes The Band, Mavis Staples and The Wellermen. 

3.30pm - 5.20pm The Retro Radio Show with Andy Henly
