We’ll review the 3 day National Hunt festival at Cheltenham and we’ll give you some local sports updates. If you like music you’ll enjoy our fortnightly pop quiz and we’ll finish by letting you know what delights a local café owner will be tempting her customers with leading up to Christmas. Chris will be joined just after 10am by Graeme Leech (pic) from the Newbury Rotary Club. We’ll find out about the purpose of the Rotary Club, what it does to help the community, and their forthcoming events. Plus there’ll be news of local activities, events and of course what Chris considers are tip top tunes
11am – 12 noon This Week with Penny
Fiona Poole (pic) from Fare Wise Travel in Hungerford will be sharing travel tips for the festive season. Plus Brian Quinn will give his usual round up of local news items and interesting stories in this week’s press
12noon – 1pm The Downland Racing Show with Chris Carter Brennan
With Pat at away at the races Chris Carter-Brennan hosts the show and will be reviewing the 3 day national hunt festival at Cheltenham which includes the £100,000 BetVictor Gold Cup handicap chase on Saturday. Can he find some winners? Tune in to find out.

Chris will provide with news of local football, golf and billiards.
1.30pm – 2.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt
It’s the fortnightly Pop Quiz. A highly recommended listen if you think you know about music. With tunes and questions from the 50s to the present day. Can you solve the Connections conundrum from clue 1?
2.30pm – 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim and Linda Forrester
Tim and Linda will be chatting to Ruth Jordan (pic), owner of ‘Priscilla’s Kitchen’, the welcoming cafe and catering business tucked away in East Garston. Ruth will be telling us all about the home made food she creates and the plans for the seasonal period. Additionally music will include Neil Diamond, Abba and Bing Crosby and we will be looking at one or two of the important imminent dates in the end of year calendar.
