We’re now broadcasting from 7am every week starting with The Breakfast Show when there’ll be great music including featured artist Van Morrison. There’ll be chat with a new Parish Councillor and hints and tips from our resident IT expert. We’ll hear about an extraordinary cinematic experience on the story of Napolean and try to find winners of the first National Hunt race meeting of the season at Cheltenham. There’s interviews with a local entrepreneur, a member of Extinction Rebellion and an expert in equine osteopathy. Plus there’s news on local events and some great music.

9am to 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Joining Chris will be Eastbury’s new Parish Councillor Mark Rees (pic right). Mark is a former Royal Marine who’s lived in Eastbury for 7 years and loves village life. Find out a bit about Mark and what his priorities are in his new role. Also resident IT expert Rob Johnson (pic left) will be in the studio to talk about broadband packages and providers. Also the latest scam telephone calls that have been very prevalent in this area (and presumably others).
11am – 12.30pm This Week with Penny
With Penny unavailable this week co-hosts for this week’s show is Brian and Chris. Their guest is Paul Strickland (pic) who is organising an extraordinary cinematic experience in the Walwyn Hall in Lambourn on Sunday 24 November – a screening of Abel Gance’s ‘Napoleon’ from 1927 – one of the most ground breaking films in cinematic history. It will be a 5 hour epic (with 3 intervals) concluding with a 3 projector triptych finale all made possible by film buffs in the Lambourn Valley, including the committee of the Valley Film Society in East Garston.
12.30pm – 1pm The Downland Racing Show with Pat Murphy
It’s the first big National Hunt race meeting of the season at Cheltenham so hopefully Pat can find you a couple of winners there and also at Newbury which host it’s last flat meeting of the campaign.
1pm – 2pm Knock Knock with Suzi Cairns
Suzi chats to Lambourn resident and entrepreneur Danielle Hartnett (pic), and discovers how the M4 can be a real friend in true Gavin and Stacey manner
2pm – 4.30pm Face2Face with Pat Heslop and Linda Forrester
Pat and Linda front Face2Face this week and it’s an all girl show with two female guests. The first, Christine Essex (pic) of Extinction Rebellion is heard on a recorded interview whilst the second, Danielle Gadd (pic left), will tell us all about equine osteopathy.
