Great tunes on the Breakfast Show kicks off proceedings. We’ll hear stories of two 4 Legs presenters recent travels to Tokyo during the devastating tycoon, there’s a reminder from an expert of the importance of doing a Will and a preview of some great racing from Ascot. There’s chat with a coach of a women’s football team and we celebrate a year of 4 Legs Pop Quizzical show. Plus there’ll be chat with a former teacher since losing his sight his aim is to help children leave school with a positive attitude. There’ll be information on local events encompassed by some great music.

Linda Forrester (pic) and her husband Tim have recently arrived back from Japan. Linda will be sharing their experiences and stories which include the devastating typhoon, earthquake, culture, food and the Rugby World Cup. No doubt this will make for good listening

Penny’s guest this week is will writer and estate planning expert Richard Hayes (pic) with some important reminders of why we not only need a will but also lasting power of attorney so you can stay in control of your family’s finances into old age.
12noon – 12.30pm The Downland Racing Show with Pat Murphy
It’s champions day at Ascot this Saturday with some fantastic racing and over 5 million pounds of prize money on offer. Pat will be previewing all 7 races and will hope to find a winner or two for the 4 Legs listeners
12.30pm – 1pm The 4 LEGS Local sports show
Joining Chris on the phone will be Sue Hewett who’s the coach of Newbury Ladies F.C (pic). The team have enjoyed a fantastic start to the season and Sue will be telling us the reasons for their success and what her hopes and expectations are for the rest of the season.

This week Tim has a special 1.5 hour anniversary show of Pop Quizzical where he’ll be featuring all the best tracks and questions from the past 12 months. As usual there will be the ‘connections’ round and hits from the last 70 years.
2.30pm – 4.30pm Face2Face with Pat Heslop and Tim Forrester
This week Tim Forrester, recently returned from a Typhoon and Earthequake in Tokyo, and Pat Heslop will be joined James Shone (pic) who heads up the charity ‘I can & I am’
“James is a man who embodies a positive attitude to life and a determination to turn setbacks into springboards. He was a teacher for many years and this was at the heart of his pastoral message, but since losing his sight his aim is now to tackle the issue that so many young people leave school with a developed sense of “I can’t” and “I am no good.”
