Here’s what’s on Fabulous 4LEGS Radio this Friday:

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

It’s the second day of lockdown here in England but nothing has changed on this show. Two hours of great music to help you get up and going. Pete’s featured artist this week, following the local news at 8, is Buddy Holly – the singer songwriter who was a central and pioneering figure of mid-1950’s Rock & Roll.  Plus to mark Remembrance Sunday and the end of hostilities for the first World War Peter Penfold will be reading out the names of those people from the Lambourn Valley who sacrificed their lives for us. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Sue Cocker (pic left) will be joining Chris on the phone to give the latest update with regards to the Lambourn Neighbourhood Development Plan and news of Lambourn library now we’re in the second Covid-19 lockdown. Also Ellie Humphreys will be phoning in to give us the latest news from the NAWT at Trindledown and to mark Remembrance Sunday and the end of hostilities for the first World War Peter Penfold (pic right) will be reading out the names of those people from the Lambourn Valley who sacrificed their lives for us. 12.30 – 1pm  Chris Capel’s Classic Comedy songs

To cheer everyone up in this difficult time Chris will be playing some classic comedy tunes from the past. Including Laurel & Hardy, The Goons (pic) and Terry Scott.  Will you remember any of tunes?

1pm – 1.30pm The DIY show with Keith Fryer

The start of a new quarterly DIY show with Keith Fryer (pic) from Fort Builders Merchants in Membury. Today Keith will be giving hits & tips on how to repair those broken fences which at the moment I expect is appropriate due to the very windy we’ve had recently.

1.30pm – 2.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

Another round of this popular music quiz to have a go at with 1 hour of music and questions from artists through the ages.

2.30pm – 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, Linda and Tim wrestle with the new lockdown rules, check the wellbeing of hedgehogs, examine smart tablecloths and search for the Loch Ness monster. Sprinkled throughout is a soundtrack ranging from unaccompanied choirs to buskers, and from gospel to voicemail messages. Plus to mark Remembrance Sunday and the end of hostilities for the first World War Peter Penfold will be reading out the names of those people from the Lambourn Valley who sacrificed their lives for us.
