This week it’s the 7th Annual Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles in April 1965. The Beatles picked up their first Grammy this year, marking the beginning of the British Invasion of the American music Scene. This afternoon, starting at 2, I will be playing the music from many of the nominees and winners from the forty six categories that were part of the 7th Annual Grammy Awards. Henry Mancini, Quincy Jones and Roger Miller were the most nominated, with Roger Miller taking five Grammys Home and Henery Mancini and Barbara Streisand taking three each.
