This is British Flower Week and to find out all about it Penny visits Skylark Flower Company’s growing plot at Sheepdrove and asks Lorna and Katherine what’s so special about British cut flowers and why we should be buying them.
Penny also talks to Gill Perkins from the Bumblebee Conservation Trust about why their monthly Bee Walks are so important for the monitoring of our precious bumble and solitary bee populations, why wild bees are so good at pollination and how we need to help them cope with climate change.
