Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio
9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
On today’s show the Business Matters slot will take a look at the UK economy and no doubt what affect this week’s budget has had. Also, Brian Quinn will provide the latest local news and event info and Mike Bowden (pic right)reports on the recent concert in Swindon which marked the 2nd anniversary of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine. There’ll be lots of great tunes to enjoy as well
11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
This week Penny will be finding out about ambitious plans to install a climbing wall (pic) in Hungerford for use by John O’Gaunt School and the general public via Hungerford Leisure Centre. Debi Arden-Hunt and Ben Mckevitt from John O’Gaunt will explain what funding is still needed to get the project off the ground. This exciting new facility will be a real asset for the western side of West Berkshire as currently people have to drive to Newbury or Swindon to climb.
12noon - 1pm Downlands Racing Show (Cheltenham Preview) with Chris Carter Brennan & Colin Brown
It’s the Cheltenham Festival next week and in this 1 hour special Downlands Racing show Chris Carter Brennan and Colin Brown (pic right) will preview a lot of the feature races and hopefully find the 4LEGS punters some winners across the 4 days.
This show is sponsored by Sporting Agenda

The themes for this week’s Old Wild Men are Generational Music for Tobi and The Full English from Max. You can enjoy music from the likes of The Who, Johnny Kid & The Pirates, The Zombies, Sweet, Cream, The Sex Pistols and many more..

On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda celebrate World Book day, check on the store group who believe the key to success is simply happy staff and sympathise with the lady locked in the loo. The music includes a nod to six time Brits winner Raze, whom we couple with all the other musical ‘Rays’ we could think of.
3.30pm - 4.30pm Middle Aged Musical Musings with Owen Killminster
The theme for this week’s Middle Aged Musical Musings is the weather – if a song mentions the sunshine or the rain, the heat or the cold, it will be in the show.
