9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Andy Westgate

This Week Chris is having the day off and is intent on Winning big at the Charity Race Day at Newbury ….that or it could be the lure of the free wine, as he gets wined and dined in the Private Racegoers Restaurant ….BUT we’ll be have fun too, join me  Andy Westgate swinging along into the weekend from 9 until 11 with Brian Quinn, popping in for his weekly review, there’s also the all important Business Matters and a hand full of familiar poptastic tunes…..look  forward to your company
 
For those interested the photo was taken during Cheltenham week in the 1980s. I believe the gentleman Andy is interviewing is a well known trainer / racing celebrity from Lambourn but his name escapes him.

In the Local Eco Show, Keith Fryer from FORT Builders Merchants at Membury busts some myths about timber as a building material and explains how it reduces the carbon footprint of the construction industry. And Penny discusses the potential of community food growing in Newbury with Rachel Hammond from edge.

On the first Face2Face after their return from South Africa, Linda and Tim recall some Cape Town highlights, look back at two entertainment heroes, review the latest production at the Watermill and recommend some favourite books. As ever, there’s plenty of  music ranging across the years.
