9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Newbury College Media students Charlese and Charlie will be Chris’s production team for today’s show with most music chosen by them. Today’s main guest is Jordache Moore (pic right) who ran 10k everyday during May to raise funds for the N.A.W.T at Trindledown. Brian Quinn will be on-hand with all the local news and event info and there’s the regular “Business Matters” slot which looks at this week in the UK economy.
11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
This week Penny welcomes back Sarah Warne (pic right) who last year published her mother’s memoirs That Summer about being evacuated to Kintbury during the second world war. The book proved so popular that Sarah decided to write her own book that continues the story of her family’s life and covers a lot of local history as well. Sarah’s book, Lost Summers of Days Gone By is now avaiable from Hungerford Bookshop.
12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Chris Carter Brennan
With Pat Murphy away this week Chris Carter Brennan is holding the fort and he’ll be looking back at last Saturday’s Epsom Derby and previews the weekend’s action at Beverley and Haydock Park.
12.30pm – 1.30pm The Finance & Legal Show with Karen Salmon
Joining Karen will be Peyton Matthews-Hewer, Alex Atkins (pic right) and Steve Perkins. Today’s subjects are: P11Ds and Benefits In Kind, Contested Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney and Children in the Middle.
1.30pm – 2.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane
It’s glorious June and on this months Gardening Show, Jane and I will be sharing our ‘Showstoppers’. These include roses, lupins and those ‘oh so blousey’ oriental poppies.

On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda choose a rather large pet, pay tribute to the Bee Gees and recall a Saturday evening TV show (pic) once watched by more than 12 million. Lots more features are accompanied by music from Phil Collins to Mumford and Sons
