On a very busy Yabber Yabber Chris will be talking to Lambourn District Councillor Howard Woollaston (pic right) who’s up for re-election at next month’s local elections. Jill Fitzpatrick from the Lambourn Riding for the disabled (RDA) will be in the studio to give the latest news from the charity including their fund-raising events this year. Plus, Mark Summers will be on the phone to talk about completing the final leg of his 3 peaks challenge which was cancelled last year due to the weather. Mark and his friends are raising money for Berkshire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre. Also, giving a quick rundown on local matters and events will be Brian Quinn. Penny also talks to Gill Perkins from the Bumblebee Conservation Trust about how we can help these wonderful pollinators, Ian Dunn from Plantlife about why their No Mow May scheme is so valuable in helping lock carbon in the soil of our gardens and Marcus Gilleard from the National Trust about how wildlife friendly agricultural methods can benefit farmers.
