What’s On 2023-04-07

Here’s What’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

It’s the beginning of a four day Easter Bank Holiday weekend, and I have two hours of music selected to start your holiday with a bang!

The featured band at 8 is Hall & Oates. They are the most successful duo of all time, ahead of the Carpenters, the Everly Brothers and even Simon & Garfunkel. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.

Don’t miss it!

9am – 12noon Yabber Yabber with Andy Westgate and Chris Capel

Andy Westgate is taking the reigns from Chris for the 1st 2 hours of Yabber Yabber, with loads of great music to get you in the mood for the long weekend and Lambourn open day. In hour 3 Chris will be getting the latest update of events this year at the Lambourn Riding for the Disabled (Lambourn RDA) from Jill Fitzpatrick. Plus Michael Quinn (pic right) will present a 15 minute ‘On the Fence’ slot, when his subject matter is the Trump court case, the ongoing teachers’ strikes and an April Fool prank by the Royal Mail.

12noon – 12.30pm This Week's Business Matters

A trawl through the week’s business news and some of the important items from the UK economy.

12.30pm – 2pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda get an update from  Denise Herrington on the Annual Duck Race. She has all the latest on the top ducks.

Additionally we will remember Paul O’Grady, celebrate a frisky 90 year old tortoise and check out the man who sold his wife for £20 and a puppy.

2pm – 3.30pm This Week with Penny

This week Penny will be visiting the Lambourn Open Day to chat to punters enjoying themselves and the organisers who make this highlight of the local calendar run smoothly every Good Friday.

3.30pm - 4.30pm Old Wild Men with Max and Tobi

Another chance to listen to the previous Old Wild Men show and the themes are ‘missed classics’ and ‘more stuff wot I like’. The Old Wild Men will leave you to guess whose theme is whose. Along with the usual banter and musical knowledge you can enjoy tracks from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Iggy Pop, Kasey Chambers, The Flaming Lips, Tom Waits and many more..
