9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Chris shares the main national and international news stories of the week and plays some classic comedy TV sketches. There’s also the usual local news and events slot with Brian Quinn and a great mix of music to enjoy.

11am – 12noon This Week with Penny

This week Penny will be pedalling over to Lambourn to talk to the Lambourn Environmental Group who are planting 25 trees in Bockhampton Meadow and to admire the new hedge they planted in the meadow after Christmas.

12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy

Pat looks back at the past 7 days in racing and previews the big races of the weekend, including the Grade 2 Coral Silviniaco Conti Chase at Kempton and the Wigley Group Classic Handicap Chase (Grand National trial) at Warwick.

12.30pm – 1.30pm Old Wild Men with Max & Tobi

Another chance to listen to a special Old Wild Men show when we find out more about presenters Max & Tobi from a recent interview with Chris Capel. They’ve been friends for many years and met through their work in Photography, where they crossed paths with many famous people. With stories to tell and some interesting song choices from Bach to Right Said Fred, it’s a great listen.
1.30pm – 2.30pm The Gardening Show with Linda & Jane

On this week’s Gardening Show, Linda recalls her trip to the famous Kirstenbosch Gardens in Cape Town (see pic) whilst she teams with Jane to talk about house plants, health and safety in the garden and jobs for the month ahead.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2 Face this week, we look at harmonious brothers, warring treasure seekers and misbehaving cars. We cast an eye back at the birthday of Breakfast TV (see pic) and we are told the best way to learn a language. All this and plenty of music.
