9am – 12noon Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
On a busy 3-hour Yabber Yabber, Chris chats to Anna Field who’s set-up the Lambourn Youth Junction. Laurent Lebeau (pic right) owner and chef from the Funghi Shop & Bistro in Hungerford who has details of it’s fantastic Christmas Menu, and Helen Noll, (pic below) one of the people behind the Lambourn Lunch Club talks about its success and when / where people can come along. Plus, Brian Quinn will be on hand to provide local news & event information and there’ll be more national new stories from the week as well as some fine tunes from the 4LEGS music library. Enjoy!

1.30pm – 2.30pm This Week with Penny
This week Penny will be talking to Emma and James Taylor from Hungerford (pic right) who have created the Check In Tribe support group which will offer a safe space for anyone to attend, grab a cup of tea or coffee and, within a group, check in with themselves. It will be a chance to share their thoughts, their worries, their experiences, their knowledge and wisdom or just to take it all in and feel part of the Tribe. The group events will be an opportunity to share the tools we all use day to day to live our best lives and deal with the struggles that inevitably come our way.
2.30pm - 3.30pm Middle Aged Musical musings with Owen Killminster
This week’s theme is Riffs – the earworms that crawl inside your head, make you want to grab your favourite air guitar and unleash your inner Slash, Angus, Jimi or indeed Jimmy. Today’s show is more (but not exclusively) male and abrasive in parts. Owen hopes you enjoy it…
3.30pm - 4pm Let There Be Drums with Max & Chris
In show 4 of the series Max and Chris talk about and play examples of the drumming styles of 3 great musicians from the late 60’s and 70’s. These being, John Bonham (Led Zeppelin – pic left), Stewart Copeland (The Police and Curved Air – pic right) and Steve Gadd (Steely Dan amongst others – pic left).
