On This Week with Penny, Roy Bailey from Great Shefford takes a trip down memory lane, reliving his experience as a Mastermind finalist in 1988 (see pic right) which was challenging and thoroughly enjoyable, and produced a wealth of memorable experiences.
12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy
The feature race of the weekend is The Grade 1 Betfair Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown Park. No doubt both Pat and Chris will be looking at the runners and riders with their expert eyes to try and find the 4LEGS listeners the winner of the race. They’ll also preview some of the other key races over the weekend and look back at last Saturday’s Ladbroke Trophy Chase at Newbury
12.30pm – 1.30pm The Finance and Legal Christmas Show with Karen Salmon
It’s very much a Christmas themed show today. Karen will be joined in the studio with colleagues Peyton Matthews-Hewer (pic right) and Steve Perkins (pic below) when today’s topics will be Christmas after Divorce, Children and separated parents at Christmas, what you can and cannot charge back to the Company at Christmas plus some words of legal wisdom at this festive time. It’s also Good Divorce Week….apparently!
1.30pm – 2.30pm Classical Gas with Chris Booth
Another chance to listen to the previous Classical Gas show when Chris presents ‘Rock me Amadeus’ and will he be playing some well known music by the genius that is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester
On Face2Face this week, Linda and Tim try to work out the do’s and don’t’s of choosing a Christmas gift for your partner, find out just how London tube stations got their names and look back and forward at the good old red phone box.
