9am – 12noon Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Two guests on today’s show. The first is Sue Hubbard (pic right) from My Speaker Friend who’ll be in the studio to talk about what the charity does and how you can help to provide content for people to listen to. The second guest is Marie Jacobs (pic below left) from the New Era Players near Newbury who Chris interviewed in the week. Marie talks about the history of the the New Era Players and also their latest production “Lloyd George knew my Father” which Marie directed. The play will be performed at St Georges Community Centre in Wash Common next week and the week after. There’s also the usual bits of local and national news items plus some great tunes. Enjoy!

What can communities do to welcome newcomers? With the evenings rapidly darkening, we talk to our man in the know, Peter Birtwhistle (pic right), about the latest night sky news. Plus plenty of quirky stories and music.
