7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show
One again w are marking the passing of one of the greatest stars of the rock era. Pete’s featured band this week is The Rolling Stones, who lost one of their founding members, Charlie Watts, just over a week ago. Pete will be playing five of their No. 1 hits, starting at eight o’clock. The band is described as the pioneers of the gritty heavier-driven sound that came to define hard rock.
As usual the rest of the music mix is designed to start the day in “happy” mode. Don’t miss it!
9am – 10.30am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Chris’s studio guest is Cy Grove (pic right) from the N.A.W.T farm at Trindledown, Great Shefford who’ll be sharing what events and activities are taking place now that the farm has fully re-opened.
Also, do you know how dangerous and harmful it could be to horses if people just feed them without getting the owners consent first? Well earlier in the week Chris caught up with Natalie Munir (below right) who’s one of a group running a campaign called #StopFeedingOurHorses and she explains the huge issues that feeding horses can cause. There’s also local and national news items and an array of great tunes. Enjoy!

11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
This week Penny catches up with Steve Taylor (pic right) from The Toy Planet in Wantage to hear about a very special visitor they have in their shop at the moment.
Penny also chats to her son Adam about why we should worry about what happens to our plastic waste. Adam has just returned from 18 months in Vietnam and has seen first hand the health and environmental problems caused by waste, often exported by countries like the UK to developing countries that don’t have the infrastructure to process it safely.
12noon - 12.30pm Downlands Racing Show with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan
With lots of great racing action across the country this weekend, including Haydock Park where the Group 1 Betfair Sprint Cup takes place, Pat and Chris will be keen to find the 4LEGS listeners some more winners as the flat season enters the Autumn period. Tune in to find out what their hot tips are for this week.
12.30pm – 1.30pm The Finance & Legal Show with Karen Salmon
This week Karen Salmon (pic left), Dan Gaskin (pic right) and Steve Peyton (below) from the Hungerford Legal & Finance Centre will be continuing with Conveyancing advice which includes a Stamp Duty update. Plus they’ll be talking mortgages with regards to the “Hot Providers” and the pitfalls of fixed rate, the differences regarding tax between Limited companies and sole traders. There’ll also be some juicy /odd stories from this month’s legal team.

On Face2Face this week, Tim and Linda find a local figure (pic right), who was a charismatic influence in formal clothing, find some clues about the origins of a famous board game and look back at the career of a musical duo who influenced all the main music acts. Music comes from the Manic Street Preachers, Stan Getz, Clannad and many more.
3.30pm - 4.30pm Old Wild Men with Max & Tobi
To finish today’s broadcasting the very popular Old Wild Men are back with their own choices of favourite musical tunes and entertaining musical memories.
