This week Pete’s featuring Best of the Rest from 1975.
Fifty-eight artists achieved the first Top Ten single in the UK charts in ’75. This included Gloria Gaynor, Helen Reddy, Guys ‘n’ Dolls, Tammy Wynette, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Steeleye Span and Demis Rousos. Only twenty-one of the One-Hundred and forty-seven singles made it to the coved No. 1 spot. Pete will be playing all of the songs that climbed to No. 2 and No. 3 and most that reach No. 4, over three hours starting at 9 on Saturday morning.
