Pete’s featured artist at 8 this Friday morning is Ringo Starr, the Beatles drummer. He Occasionally sang lead vocals with the group, usually for one song on each album, including “Yellow Submarine”, ” With a Little Help from my Friends” and the cover of “Act Naturally”. After the band’s break-up in 1970, he released several successful singles. As usual the rest of the music mix will help get your day started. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11.45am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Author, dancer, poet, playwright and newspaper correspondent Iris Lloyd (pic) from Hungerford is Chris’s guest.  Iris is 90 on Saturday and with such an incredible life so far she’ll have plenty to talk about.  There’ll also be the usual array of informative audios, news of local events and activities plus the ‘where are they now spot’ returns. Enjoy!
