It’s 4LEGS Radio’s 3rd Birthday on April 16th

4LEGS Community Radio Station for the Lambourn Valley celebrates it’s 3rd birthday on Friday April 16th. We hope that during the last very difficult 12 months we’ve continued to provide a useful service that’s informative, interesting and entertaining. Having moved to a bigger and better studio in the summer our intention is for guests to return to the studio when COVID restrictions are lifted.  If you would like to wish us a happy birthday on Friday and have your message read out live on air, you can either text 07418 310510 or email studio@4legsradio.org.uk. If you text please remember to leave your name

So what have we got planned for 2021? .Well we’re intending to extend ‘live’ broadcasts by 1 hour on Friday’s from 4.30pm – 5.30pm and on Saturdays by a further 5 hours from 12 noon – 5pm, with the emphasis on local sport and to provide a voice for the Valley’s younger generation. We will also continue to arrange events for local charities and during the summer the second annual ‘Unsung Hero’ awards will take place, which will focus on individuals and groups that have gone the extra mile to help and support people in the community during the COVID pandemic. So keep a look out for details on how to nominate and vote on the 4LEGS Radio website: https://4legsradio.org.uk

Don’t forget if you’re interested in being part of the 4LEGS Radio team we’d love to hear from you. Simply send an email to studio@4legsradio.org.uk and we’ll get in touch and arrange for a chat.

Finally, we’ve set up a project on The Good Exchange to raise funds to cover the annual Operational costs for the Radio Station. If you would like to support us during the next 12 months you can do so here:

We thank you for your continued support
The 4LEGS Community Radio Team
