The Prince’s Trust in Thames Valley has lots of exciting programmes coming up for young people aged 16 to 30 this month.
For the moment all of their online/virtual programmes are available for Young People within the Thames Valley area. This however will be subject to change as we they towards face to face delivery, they will keep people informed of these changes should and when they occur.
Here’s details of the current programmes:
Get Started in Health and Fitness (16-30) (Thames Valley)
Virtual one week fitness programme learning from person trainer Luke Hayter. Expect to sweat and learn about a career in the fitness industry. No prior experience or knowledge necessary.

Get Started in Photography (16-30)
A free, two-week programme with The Prince’s Trust and Benjamin Film Photography learning about different areas of photography through online workshops and sessions including: light and shadows in photography, contrast and colour theory and basic editing techniques. You’ll work towards your very own photography project and have the opportunity to build skills in confidence, communication and teamwork.

Welcome Session (16-30)
We are hosting fortnightly welcome sessions for young people who want to find out more information about The Prince’s Trust and our opportunities. These will be held through Microsoft Teams in a video conference format. Young people can watch the presentation and get involved as much as they want. Afterwards, a staff member will follow up 1:1 and progress them onto our programmes.

Get Started in Podcasting (16-30)
Are you interested in developing your skills & confidence in presenting and hosting a podcast? During this one week virtual programme you will explore presenting styles and techniques and understand how to produce, platform and promote a podcast. By the end of the week you will develop and record one episode of a presenter-led podcast.

Achieve (16 – 25)
The Achieve programme aims to create opportunities for young people by helping them to increase their confidence and develop the skills that they need to succeed in whatever they choose to do next.

Get Started in TV Production in the Digital Age (16-24) (CROYDON ONLY)
Led by Media Trust’s expert trainers, we will cover modern TV production 101, filming fundamentals, how to create a compelling vlog, and insights on new and emerging digital platforms. Despite being online, the programme will be hands-on and interactive – participants will be set practical challenges to work on individually and in teams – and will culminate in a showcase and shared learnings on the final day.
