9am – 12noon Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Chris will be chatting to Hungerford Town FC Manager Danny Robinson about the team’s season so far. Also joining Chris is 4LEGS presenter Suzi Cairns who’ll be telling us about ‘Lambourn’s Got Talent’ the fantastic initiative she’s kicked off to boost community spirit as we continue through the COVID pandemic. Plus there’s the second recording of BBC Radio4’s ‘Down Your Way’ programme presented by Lord Oaksey in 1989 where he interviews racing personalities from that year including John Francome, trainer Doug Marks, vet Frank Mahon, Gerry Deacon from Lambourn LRT and Eddie Fisher from the Mandown gallops.
12noon – 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show with Pate Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan
Another 30 minutes delving into the horse racing world as Pat and Chris look back at the past week and ahead to the weekend’s action with feature races at both Warwick and Market Rasen.

This week Penny catches up with Freddie Tulloch from The Queens Arms in East Garston to hear about what they are offering during lockdown and transport manager Cate Earl from Lambourn who explains how Brexit and Covid are impacting lorry drivers at the moment and puts the record straight on ham sandwiches.
1.30pm – 2pm Knock Knock with Suzi Cairns
Suzi catches up with Lambourn pharmacist Graham Jones, in the midst of lockdown number three in the Lambourn Valley. The discussion sees Graham reflecting on the pressures of the last ten months, the added pressures of the new Covid-19 variant and the role of pharmacies in rolling out the new vaccines.
2pm – 2.30pm Uploaded with Ellie Chelton
This week on Uploaded Ellie talks to her friend Phailin Chanphian who works in a mental health unit in Oxford. They discuss the stresses of working in the NHS in the current climate as well as the impact on mental health, and talk about different ways to destress and unwind at home with music and games.
