Here’s what’s on Fabulous 4LEGS Radio:
7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Start this Friday with two hours of music to get you going and to face the day. Pete’s featured artist this week, following the eight o’clock news, is Madness. Don’t miss it.
9am – 11.45am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

On today’s show Chris catches up with local singer / songwriter Kate Sloan (pic) to talk about and play some of her latest compositions. With 2 weeks to go before the big day he’ll take a look at some of the most popular Christmas toys purchased over the past 40 years. There’s also more informative audios and some great music including the odd few Christmas tunes…well it is almost Christmas.
11.45am - 12.30pm The Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy

with 2 days of fantastic sport this weekend at Cheltenham, the home of National Hunt racing Pat will go through the big races to let us know what has a chance of winning and what doesn’t. Including the very competitive Grade 2 Unibet International Hurdle on Saturday
12.30pm – 1.45pm This Week with Penny

Penny has two guests this week the first is Roselle Chapman (right) from Wild Oxfordshire who shares tips on how to make your garden wildlife friendly in the winter. The eggs and larvae of the insects that we attract during the summer with flowers need somewhere safe in your garden to spend the winter. And there are lots of chemicals sold for our gardens that we don’t actually need and it is better for wildlife if we don’t use them. The second is is Jana Little (below), famous for her passion for recycling in
the local area, who has also published a novel called The Ninth Cross. Based on a true story from her native Czechoslovakia this is a compelling tale of horror and the supernatural with a classic detective story thrown in.
1.45pm - 2.15pm On the Fence with Michael Quinn

On his very first On the Fence show new 4LEGS presenter Michael Quinn will be speaking with climate researcher Max Leighton (pic), unsurprisingly on the subject of climate change. In 20 odd minutes we’ll be discussing the impact we have on the planet, the role of the pandemic and how the younger generation are shaping the discussion.
2.15pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face, Tim and Linda look at words which most commonly get mispronounced, search out the origins of some of our Christmas traditions, follow some penguins into a care home and find out why December 11 is a day to avoid.
