7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Two hours of music that will start your day with a smile. Pete’s featured band this week following the eight o’clock news is The Boomtown Rats. Don’t miss it!

9am – 12 noon Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Three telephone guests on this week’s show. The first is Trevor Goodall (far right) who’ll be telling us of the latest news from the New Life charity which is dedicated to raising funds for special care baby units. Trevor initiated 25 years ago and has raised almost £1,000,000 since it’s start. The second is Ellie Humphreys from Trindledown Farm who’ll give an update on life and events at the NAWT Centre. The final guest is Graham White (above right) from The Plough in Eastbury, who’ll provide details of the takeaway service during lockdown. Plus there’ll be the local news items, more informative audios and great music.

12noon - 1pm Downlands Racing with Pat Murphy

It’s a fantastic weekend of racing at Cheltenham with the big race being The Paddy Power Gold Cup on Saturday. In this hour long special show both Pat and Chris Carter Brennan (above) will be casting their expert eyes over the runners and riders of the big race plus wil preview some of the other competitive races during the 3 day festival. Can they find you some winners? Tune in to find out.

1pm – 2pm This week with Penny

How productive are you being during lockdown? Tim Hirst (left) from near Hungerford explains how the first lockdown gave him the opportunity to start an impressive project publishing a historic collection of 1930s interviews with slaves in America. Tim has now created a series of twenty books that can be purchased online. A percentage of each purchase goes to a charity fighting modern slavery which is still a big problem worldwide. 

Kayleigh Powell (above right)set up the West Berkshire Baby Bank a year ago to collect donations of all sorts of equipment, clothes and toys needed by families with young children. In this past year they have supplied items for 600 local children via local childrens centres and family support workers. Listen to how it works and how you can support this important charity.

2pm – 2.30pm Uploaded with Ellie Chelton

This week on Uploaded Ellie talks to her friend Georgie Dye (right) about her contribution to the Quarantine Art Exhibition, started by her friend Charlotte Ellery during the first lockdown. The exhibition which features amateur and professional artists from around the world, will be available on-line by the end of this year.

2.30pm - 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On Face2Face this week, Linda and Tim investigate a pig who achieved fame 100 years ago, a knotty hairdressing visit, a new puddle jumping champion and words and phrases which are in fashion and shouldn’t be. Plus the story of a music hero who has won more Grammies than any other solo artist.
