The weather may have cooled off but the music is still hot. Two more hours of the best sounds around. Plus the featured band at 8 this week is the super group – Travelling Wilburys. Don’t miss it!
9am – 12noon Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Chris has 2 guest this week. The first is Ellie Humphrey’s (pic right) from Trindledown who’ll chat about what’s been happening there during lockdown and what the animal centre is hoping to open to the public soon. Plus Ellie will give news of the animals (arrivals / departures), and fund-raising events. This is the first of a fortnightly slot that will be dedicated to Trindledown news and information. The second guest is Ceri Hanlon from the Hungerford branch of The Kennet & Avon Canal Trust. Their canal boat ‘The Rose of Hungerford’ has been out of use since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic but we’ll hear some good news from Ceri as it starts it’s summer service on Saturday. Plus there’ll be local news and the usual variety of classic tunes.
12noon – 12.30 The Downland Racing Show with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter-Brennan
Pat and Chris look back at last weekends big races in France & Ireland preview the weekends action at Doncaster, Newbury and Newmarket.

1.30pm – 2.30pm This Week with Penny
Penny will be broadcasting her show live from the studio this week and her guest is Katy Quayle (pic) from Baydon who is training to become a qualified Animal Communicator. Penny finds out how Katy works and the amazing results she has had already.
2.30pm – 4.30pm Face2Face with Linda & Tim Forrester
On Face2Face this week, Linda and Tim reflect on VJ day. We’ll hear more news of local attractions opening and re-opening and they feature more singer songwriters, including sixteen year old Evie from Shefford Woodlands.
