What’s On 2020-07-03

So here’s Friday’s Fabulous 4LEGS Radio schedule as we broadcast the Yabber Yabber show from the new studio. Enjoy!

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Brady Breakfast Show
Start your day with the best music around. This week’s featured artist at 8 is Rod Stewart. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel
Chris’s telephone guest this week is psychotherapist Caroline Walker (pic). Caroline will explain the different techniques she uses to treat her clients including Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) which involves working with horses to help humans. Interesting stuff. Plus there’ll be the usual snippets of local news, informative audios, great music and the weekly classic comedy clip from TV / Radio. Enjoy!

11am – 12noon This Week with Penny
Poet Steve Wallis (pic left) pays tribute in verse to the kindness displayed across our local area during the pandemic and shares his dreams in his chat with Penny.  Lockdown has caused a 400% increase in people being supported by West Berkshire Foodbank through no fault of their own. Project Manager Fran Chamings (pic right) encourages everyone who needs help to call their Crisis Line at this time and explains how you can donate from your home at this time.

12noon – 12.45pm The Downland Racing Show with Pat Murphy & Chris Carter Brennan
What a fantastic weekend of racing action with The Oaks and The Derby at Epsom on Saturday and The Eclipse at Sandown on Sunday. In this extended show Pat and Chris will preview all the big race runners and hopefully inform everyone what’s going to win and what isn’t. If you’re having a flutter this weekend you can’t afford to miss the show.

12.45 – 1.45pm Knock Knock with Suzi Cairns
Another chance to listen to Suzi’s interview with 4LEGS Radio presenter Pat Heslop (pic). Pat uncovers a journey as challenging as it is rich and . . . the importance of sugar mice to a life well-lived!

1.45pm – 2.45pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt
Tim’s back with another poptastic quiz to enjoy. Tim could be asking questions about any artist, band or musical from Abba to Frank Zappa. Enjoy this entertaining Friday afternoon music quiz.

2.45pm – 4.45pm Face2Face with Linda & Tim Forrester
This week on Face2Face Linda and Tim hear from pub supremo Joshua Khan, who reveals the plans for the reopening of the Great Shefford pub. They also check out some adverts from fifty years ago and start their next music feature on an artist, known simply as The Genius.
