The 2020 Eastbury Duck Races
We hope everyone enjoyed the 2020 Eastbury Duck Races, which were broadcast on Friday on both Facebook and YouTube. We did have a few technical problems with Facebook, who had coincidentally made some significant changes to the site’s look and feel, as well as changing functionality earlier in the week. As a result, all races had to be uploaded manually, which resulted in the late running of the races. This consequently had a knock on effect on the transmission of the YouTube video, which was not available until 9.30pm. We hope it didn’t spoil your viewing, and that you found the event entertaining. If you haven’t seen the races, you can now watch them again here:
On behalf of Racing Welfare, Lambourn Riding for the Disabled and NAWT at Trindledown, we’d like to thank everyone for their support whether by buying ducks or simply by making a donation. Also huge thanks to the race and prize sponsors: The Plough Eastbury, Laurent Lebeau from The Funghi Club, Walker Logistics, Jamie Osborne, The Great Shefford, The Trustees of the RDA and NAWT. If any one would still like to make a donation, you can still do so by visiting the following Just Giving site:
