The River Lambourn near Weston could be in danger of receiving treated sewage unless the community acts quickly.
West Berks Council have the opportunity to approve revised plans that would see treated sewage being taken to the mains for phosphate removal rather than allowing treated sewage to leach into the river. These plans require a one off approval of one house on greenbelt to pay for additional costs.

West Berks council are meeting on Wednesday 20th May to review the plans and the community needs to act by no later than midday on Monday 18th May. This can be done either by signing a petition to approve the revised plan, contacting their District Councillors or the West Berks Planning Dept expressing your concerns and views.
