It’s Valentine’s Day and there’ll be lots of dedications and messages throughout the day’s shows beginning with the Breakfast show at 7am. We’ll look at the weekend’s racing and there’s an interview with an artist and Yoga teacher. We’ve the fortnightly pop quiz and we’ll find out from a carer the difficulties they face.

Chris is delighted to have as his guest Nathan Horrocks (pic) who’s career has spanned many aspects of Racing from jockey to founder and owner of an Equine Production Company. Nathan had a great relationship with Grand National winner Many Clouds and it’s something he’ll never forget. So listen to Nathan’s story who is one entertaining fella.

Penny’s guest this week is the multi-talented electronics engineer, musician and retired pilot Kevan Bartholomew. Kevan (pic) started playing on the Griffin Circuit in London with Albert Lee and Chas and Dave before they became household names. He was pedal steel guitarist to Don Everley, Frank Ifield, Wanda Jackson and has played top venues from Wembley to Disneyland Paris. He is currently the session guitarist for Puzzlemaker Studios and runs the monthly Open Mic Night at Hungerford British Legion. He also runs Saetech Ltd that provides R&D electronics to Rutherford Labs at Harwell.
