BROADCASTING WILL START AT THE NORMAL TIME OF 9AM THIS FRIDAY 8th MARCH

 

Welcome back to another great day of broadcasting here on 4LEGS radio!

We start broadcasting at 9am with the Pete Brady breakfast show where as usual, he’ll playing a fantastic range of music – this week he will be playing the greatest duets of the past 60 years.

The day’s broadcasting includes an insight into the river Lambourn and interviews with the Vale and Downland Museum and Swings and Smiles.

Listen out for your favourites including the Downland Racing Show, Ed Pownall’s insight into the news and Pop Quizzical.

This week’s schedule:

9am – 11am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Pete will be playing a variety of great music, including the very best duets of the last 60 years. His guest will be Nigel Hart, the head professional at Deanwood Park Golf Club.

11am -12noon This week with Penny

As the River Lambourn finally starts to rise through the valley, Penny’s guest is East Garston river dipper and flood warden Mark Brock who will explain how he keeps an eye on water levels in the village.

12noon – 12.30pm  ‘The Downland Racing Show’ with Pat Murphy 

Pat will take a look back at this week’s news and talking points in the world of racing plus a look ahead to the weekend’s action.

12.30 – 1.30 The World according to Ed with Ed Pownall

Ed shares the amusing, wacky and somewhat unbelievable news stories of the week.

1.30pm to 2.30pm Knock Knock with Suzi Cairns

Suzi’s guest this week is Lindzie Errol who will be talking about the comfort of horses when the going gets tough.

2.30pm to 4.30pm Face to Face with Tim Forrester and Pat Heslop

Pat and Tim will be talking to Laura Lewis (pictured), Charity Director for Swings & Smiles, a local charity which helps local families with special needs.

Later on, Mel Rowntree and Susie Tilbury will be telling us all about the activities at Wantage’s Vale and Downland Museum.

4.30pm to 5.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

Tim Stutt challenges you to play for points at home and text or call with your answers Pit your pop knowledge against 4 Legs very own ‘Pop Master’ who’ll be testing you with tracks and artists through the ages.
