What’s on 4LEGS – Radio Friday, 19th April





We’ll be taking the opportunity to interview the Lib Dem candidate for the for the role of Lambourn District Councillor at forthcoming local elections. There’ll be a chat with a father and son on the subject of environmental issues and an epic journey in electric car. Also listen to stories from a retired senior National Trust gardener and 4 ladies will give different perspectives on the care and support offered by a local hospice. All this plus a live interview from 4 Legs presenters at the Lambourn Open Daye events, more bizarre and humorous stories both locally and internationally, racing news some great music to get your day started.

8am– 10am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

10am – 11am: Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Chris will be interviewing Charlie Christopher who is the Liberal Democrat Candidate for the role of Lambourn District councillor in the forthcoming local elections. 11am – 12noon: This Week with Penny 

Joining penny will be 9 year old Louis de Chazal and his dad Christopher rom Great Shefford. Louis will inspire us about environmental issues, after he was a speaker at the YouthStrike4Climate in Newbury last week.

Christopher de Chazal will also be talking about his epic road trip visiting 33 countries in a converted to electric Golf.





12noon – 12.30pm The Downland Racing Show with Pat Murphy

Pat will be looking ahead to the weekends racing including the valuable end of season all-weather races at Lingfield on Good Friday. Plus he’ll be chatting about Lambourn’s big event which is The Peter O’Sullevan Open Day, also on Good Friday.







12.30pm 1.30pm The World according to Ed

Ed will share the amusing, wacky and somewhat unbelievable news stories of the week.





1.30pm – 4.30pm Face2Face with Tim and Pat

With a very busy show Tim and Pat will be joined in the studio this week by Paul Gray, (pic left) retired senior National Trust gardener and head gardener of the Williamstrip Estate. Paul will tell us about his gardening life and offer all sorts of expert tips on getting the best from our gardens. He will mix expert knowledge with wry humour and is well worth hearing, whatever your gardening knowledge.


Also from the Alexander Devine Hospice. Fi, Zoe, Sue and Holly will give different perspectives on the care and support offered by this wonderful hospice which covers all Berkshire. Hear how young Alexander inspired the formation of this charity which now boasts brand new premises in Maidenhead.



Plus Chris and Penny will be phoning in Live from the Peter O’Sullevan Lambourn Open Day and will hopefully persuade some of the public to talk about their Open Day experience.
