Welcome back to another great day of broadcasting here on 4LEGS radio! We start broadcasting at 9am with the Pete Brady breakfast show where he’ll playing a fantastic range of great music, with a focus on the hits of 1975.

There are interviews with the organiser of an innovative programme for older people who can’t get away on holiday; plus Tim and Pat will be talking to a representative from the Wavelength Charity which helps lonely and isolated people, plus they have guests from Three Rivers Community Choir.

There’s also the weekly look at the funny news stories of the week with Ed Pownall, voices from the Lambourn Valley and Pop Quizzical.


9am – 11am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Pete will be playing a variety of great music (not just old stuff) and this week features the number 1 hits of 1975.


11am – 12.30 This week with Penny

Penny will be talking to Karen Frost Pastoral, Development Worker for Hungerford, Lambourn, Newbury & Thatcham Methodist Churches. Karen will be talking about this summer’s Holiday at Home for older people in the Lambourn area who can’t get away on holiday.This two-day event on 13 & 14 August in the Walwyn Hall will give them the opportunity to be refreshed, to enjoy new experiences, to make new friends.  The theme will be a cruise aboard the “Lambourn Valley” ship. The event is being organised by churches together – Sacred Heart, St Michael’s Methodists and East Garston Quakers. Find out how you can get involved.


12.30 – 1.30 The World according to Ed with Ed Pownall

Ed shares the amusing, wacky and somewhat unbelievable news stories of the week.


1.30pm – 2.30pm Knock Knock with Suzi Cairns

If you missed it the first time here’s another chance to listen to some wonderful interviews from a few years ago with some of the characters and personalities from the Lambourn Valley who talk about their lives from days gone by.

2.30pm to 4.30pm The Forrester and Heslop Show

Tim and Pat will be talking to Tim Leech from the Wavelength Charity which helps lonely and isolated people. There’s also music talk with Caroline Snowdon, Ann Wright and Robert Meter from Three Rivers Community Choir.


4.30 – 5.30 Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

Join 4 Legs Radio’s Tim Stutt for his fortnightly quiz with questions set to delves into popular music across the decades.
